"This is your fault," he murmured lowly, his shoulders hunched as he knelt in front of the toilet for the second time that morning. Frank crouched beside him, a cold, wet washcloth in his hand.
He tilted Dwayne's head and wiped the sweat from his face, making soft comforting sounds. Dwayne flushed the toilet with one hand, resting back against Frank, his body limp with exhaustion.
"I know," Frank said, stroking his damp hair back from his forehead.
"The doctor said it shouldn't last much longer," he added.
"He's full of shit," Dwayne muttered crossly. Frank smiled, holding him closely.
